Change

You are not failing. You are in a cycle.

This month, I have been reflecting on change.

Not the glossy kind. Not the "new year, new me" kind.

The real kind.

The kind that takes you offline.

In my own life and in the lives of clients that I work with, I see a pattern.

We reach a point where something no longer fits.

A relationship. A role. An identity. A way of coping.

We can't stay.

We don't want to go back.

But we don't yet know how to move forward.

This is the contraction.

In nature, contraction always precedes expansion.

Winter before spring.

The dark moon before renewal.

The inward phase before creativity returns.

What if your sadness is not failure - but preparation?

In my counselling practice, Reiki sessions, sound healing, and circles,

I hold space for these in-between seasons.

The messy middle.

The sacred pause.

If you are in one, you are not alone.
